Several arson fires that damaged homes and a truck Tuesday are under investigation in Andover.

Anoka County Sheriff’s Deputies and firefighters first responded to a report of a flat bed truck on fire in the 1100 block of 152nd Lane around 1 p.m. Tuesday. The truck was parked next to a home that was under construction. Firefighters were able to put out the fire.

Then two hours later, three other suspicious fires were reported. They happened in the 1100 block of 157th Lane Northwest, and damaged several occupied homes. No one was hurt.

Rod Muehlbauer owns one of those homes. He says he was sleeping at the time of the fire.
"Every time you go to bed at night, well, what's going to happen now, you know? So you just hope that nothing does and they get these people or this person," he said.

All of the fires appear to be intentionally set, according to the sheriff’s office.
