The weekend is nearly upon us and there are plenty of events happening in the Twin Cities. Bradley Traynor from MY TALK 107.1 joined Rusty Gatenby in studio to talk about some of the highlights.

The musical Miss Saigon, a tragic love story set during the Vietnam War, is showing through Sunday at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul. The show is completing a week-long run this weekend.

Nearly 30,000 "undead" will converge in Minneapolis for the ninth annual Zombie Pub Crawl on Saturday. Last year, the event set a Guiness World Record for the "Largest Gathering of Zombies." The Zombie Pub Crawl will feature food, amusements, drinks and performances by artists, including the Ying Yang Twins.

Book-lovers can find haven in the Twin Cities Book Festival on Saturday at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Around 7,000 people typically attend the free event to see some of the latest book releases and meet authors. This year, former Gov. Jesse Ventura will host a book signing.
