On Thursday, hundreds of people from across the country camped in the parking lots of two new Chick-fil-A restaurants in the metro for a chance to get free meals every week for a year.
The first two stand-alone Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Twin Cities opened Thursday, Oct. 10, in Coon Rapids and Maple Grove. More details about the restaurants can be found here.
Nationwide, customers spent hours lining up to be the first 100 people to go through the doors to win a free meal every week for a year. Twelve restaurants are opening nationwide, including four restaurants in the Twin Cities area.
A Chick-fil-A will open Nov. 7 in Apple Valley and Nov. 11 in Bloomington.
