After winning their second WNBA Championship Thursday night in Atlanta, the Minnesota Lynx returned home Friday.
Twice in the last three years the Lynx returned home from Georgia with some extra luggage, which just happens to be a WNBA Championship trophy.
After a night of celebrating their title, the Lynx returned home to a strong crowd of passionate fans at Minneapolis- St. Paul International Airport Friday night. A lot of the people there were the same fans that saw the Lynx lose two home games all season.
You can see the Lynx during their victory parade on Monday. At 11:30 a.m., the team will move down Nicollet Avenue starting at 12th Street.
The parade turns on Seventh Street and goes up to First Avenue.
The Lynx Championship Celebration starts at Target Center at 12:15 p.m.
Admission is free.
