A Madison business says it's cornered the market on cuddling. The owners of The Snuggle House insist there's nothing sexual about professional hugging or cuddling.
They open their touch therapy business Tuesday. Lonnie Johnson is an employee of the Snuggle House. Johnson tells WISC-TV that whether they admit it or not, every human being needs to be loved, cared for and experience physical contact.
The owners say the business is modeled after The Snuggery in New York, which says there are psychological and physical benefits of non-sexual touch. It charges $120 for a double cuddle and $425 for an overnight session.
