Mayo Study: Flu Shot for Pregnant Women May Help Prevent Autism

Expectant moms have yet another good reason to get their flu shot.

A new Mayo Clinic study found that women who are pregnant and got their flu shot had a greatly reduced risk of their newborn getting autism.

According to Mayo Clinic, about one in 88 kids in the United States are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.
