The weekend is nearly upon us and there are plenty of events happening in the Twin Cities. Bradley Traynor from MY TALK 107.1 joined Patrick Hammer in studio to talk about some of the highlights. This week: bingo, food trucks and ghost stories.

Preview your Halloween costume and support two Twin Cities non-profit organizations at Bingo A-GoGo on Saturday at the Minneapolis Hyatt Regency. Miss Richfield 1981 will host the fundraiser event for the Park House and Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus will perform. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door.

Sample a variety of food favorites at the Fall Feast Food Truck Rally from noon to 7 p.m. On Saturday at the Harriet Brewing Company in Minneapolis, 15 food trucks will be serving up bites and local musicians will be performing throughout the event. Admission is free.

Listen to spooky stories in a historical Victorian mansion that could offer some spooks of its own. The Minnesota Historical Society will host two weekends of readings featuring the stories of Bram Stoker on Oct. 19-20, and Edgar Allen Poe on Oct. 26-27, in the dimly lit parlor of the James J. Hill House in St. Paul. Participants receive a tour of the house after the readings.
