Sam Warning scored two goals as the Gophers men's hockey team beat Bemidji State 5-1 Saturday night in Bemidji. The Gophers improve to 4-0 this season and could become the #1 ranked team in the nation after Miami (Ohio) and Wisconsin both lost this weekend.

The Gophers continue to get solid contributions from their freshman class.  Freshmen Taylor Cammarata and Justin Kloos each scored goals in Saturday's game.

The Gophers out-shot the Beavers 31-25 with neither team converting a power play chance.

Minnesota hosts Boston College at Mariucci Arena on Oct. 25 and Oct. 27.
