Man Hospitalized after Shooting in Minneapolis

A man was shot in Minneapolis around 11:45 a.m. Sunday.

According to Minneapolis Police, the victim was standing in front of a house in the 600 block of Russell Avenue North, when a vehicle pulled up to him.

The man began talking to two people in the car. He was then shot by a person who was inside the vehicle.

The vehicle left the scene and headed westbound on Highway 55.

The man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made.

At this point, the case is under investigation.
