Law enforcement officers with the Minnesota State Patrol conducted a commercial vehicle inspection Tuesday in Blaine as part of Operation Safe Driver Week.
The week is a national initiative through the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. It aims to reduce the number of deaths from crashes involving large trucks, buses and passenger vehicles.
Officers will be conducting safety belt enforcement, driver roadside inspections, and checking driver regulatory compliance.
