The Roseville Housing and Redevelopment Authority was recently honored for promoting sustainable living and housing preservation.
The HRA and Family Housing Fund received a 2013 Twin Cities Development Award from the Local Initiatives Support Corporation and the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers.
The award honored the city’s Green Remodeling Plan Book, which offers information for homeowners to consider before remodeling their house. According to the city, these tips help lower utility bills, create a structure that lasts, and increase a home’s resale value.
The Roseville HRA was among 12 groups recognized during the event.
