For many, Halloween is all about how much candy you can collect. However, for one local man it's his goal to see how much he can give.
John Weiss is the man behind John's Zombies-Food for Brains in Ham Lake.
Weiss and his neighbor have been creating the creepy set-up for the past six years, using old clothes and leaves to create zombies at first. It evolves each year getting bigger and better; but the mission remains the same--to give something back to the public.
Entry is free, but they are asking for donations of a non-perishable food item.
All the canned goods collected will be donated to the Northern Anoka County Food Emergency Shelf.
The "undead" cul-de-sac event is open until next Sunday.
