The Minnesota Gophers are focusing on more than just football this season.
Their hearts and minds are also with their head coach Jerry Kill. Earlier this month, coach Kill stepped back from the team to focus on his health after suffering two game-day seizures this year.
On Saturday, the Gophers focused on epilepsy awareness once again with a big game. Players, coaches, cheer leaders and fans wore purple.
Debra Josephs, executive director of the Anita Kaufman Foundation, stopped by KSTP to talk more about it.
