Meat Processing Companies Hit the Grind as Hunting Season Kicks Off

The firearms deer season is well underway.

KSTP stopped by Nelson's Meat Market in St. Louis Park where we already saw three hunters bring in their deer to be processed.
Butchers say the typical request is for sausage and jerky.
The company just moved from Hopkins and has been in business for nearly half a century.
Nelson's is planning to bring in additional staff as more hunters stop in early next week for meat processing.
