The Junior League of Minneapolis celebrated its 90th anniversary on Saturday doing what it does best, volunteering.
The volunteers painted a library and updated the teachers' lounge at Green Elementary school in south Minneapolis.
JLM members, family and friends also volunteered at Free Arts Minnesota, Bridging, Arc's Value Village and Second Harvest Heartland.
They contributed more than 600 volunteer hours on Saturday.
The Junior League is a non-profit organization made up of women. They promote volunteering to help improve the community.
