Three men were arrested after allegedly robbing several victims at gunpoint in Blaine.
Blaine officers responded to three separate robberies around 11 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7.
The first victim was a man who was walking on the service road along County Road 10. The victim told police a car pulled up next to him and two men approached him, demanding his wallet. The victim said that one of the men had a shotgun. The suspects allegedly punched the victim several times and hit him with the butt of the gun.
The second victim was on a motorized scooter and stopped at a light on Able Street and 87th Lane. The victim said three men got out of the car that was stopped ahead of him and pulled him off his scooter, hitting him several times. The suspects allegedly hit him several times and took his cell phone and cash.
The third victim was getting his mail outside his home on the 1100 block of 95th Avenue when a car pulled up and two men got out. Again, one of the men had a gun, the victim said, and put it against his head. The victim insisted that he didn’t have anything, and the suspects took off, according to the criminal complaint.
Within minutes, officers found the suspect vehicle and attempted to stop it. According to the criminal complaint, the vehicle sped off and eventually crashed into a yard on the 900 block of 102nd Lane Northeast.
The three suspects fled on foot but were tracked by a K-9. They were identified as 18-year-old Ezekiel John Miller, 19-year-old Kenyatta Devine Buckles, and 19-year-old Torrie Vidal Bingham.
Miller admitted that he had been the driver for all of the robberies, Bingham admitted to being in the car but said he never got out of the car, and Buckles admitted to being in the car but denied that there were any robberies.
