State Football: Owatonna Earns Prep Bowl Spot in 5A

At the Metrodome Friday, Owatonna seemed to dominate St. Michael-Albertville in the Prep Bowl winning 27-7. The first half of the game, Owatonna led with Quarterback Ian Langeberg making a 30 yard touchdown pass to Sam Fenske. The second touchdown for Owatonna was scored by Aaron Peterson running seven yards into the endzone making it 14-0 in the first half. 

St. Michael-Albertville came back fighting with a touchdown from Jackson Greenwaldt passing 30 yards to Matt Kisch, who barely caught the ball in the endzone. But, it was not enough to beat Owatonna who got yet another touchdown from Peterson making that his second touchdown and they took a 21-7 lead. Owatonna ended up kicking two field goals in the 3rd quarter and they win it 27-7.
