Eden Prairie fans celebrate after their team takes a 47-7 lead in the Class 6A State Football Semifinal
In a clash of defending champions, Eden Prairie handled Totino-Grace 47-22 in a Class 6A State Semifinal.
Eden Prairie, who won Class 6A last season, will try for a third straight state title.
Totino-Grace were winners of 5A last season before opting to play up in the state's largest class this season.
Dan Fisher and Charlie Venable each scored two touchdowns for the Eagles, who built a 47-7 lead at one point early in the fourth quarter.
The Eagles unstoppable offense never punted in the game, going 12 for 12 on third down conversions.
Totino-Grace did manage to score the game's final three touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
Eden Prairie will go for its three-peat against Rosemount in the Class 6A Championship the day after Thanksgiving.
