A Richfield man is was killed after a head-on crash involving a vehicle and a semi-truck in Scott County Saturday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on County Road 101 near Highway 169 in Shakopee.
30-year-old Rual Lopez-Crutztitla was heading eastbound on County Road 101 when his car collided with a semi-truck head near the northbound Highway 169 ramp, the state patrol reported.
55-year-old Mark Fitterer of Prior Lake, the man in the semi-truck, was not hurt, according to the State Patrol.
Lopez-Crutztitla was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
