The Minnesota Wild announced Tuesday evening, forward Zach Parise will miss two to three weeks with a left foot contusion, which means he badly bruised his foot.
Parise took a shot off his foot in their game against the Blues in St. Louis Monday night. He tried to skate afterwards, but just couldn't do it.
He ended up leaving the game with the injury, missing a majority of the second period and all of the third period.
The Wild got shutout 3-0. Parise was walking with a noticeable limp after the game.
It appears Parise will miss at least eight games starting Wednesday night against Phoenix at the Xcel Energy Center.
