It’s one of the most beloved holiday traditions in the metro. On Friday night, the Holidazzle parade kicked off its annual run down Nicollet Mall.

However, there are major changes for its future ahead. Leah Wong with the Minneapolis Downtown Council stopped by KSTP to talk more about why the parade will be running fewer nights this season and why there will not be another Holidazzle next year.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, Brad Sattin, Megan Newquist, Patrick Hammer, Rusty Gatenby from the 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS morning show will be serving as Grand Marshals of the parade.

The parade runs Fridays and Saturdays and starts at 6:30 p.m.
