The case is settled, but the bills keep coming.

The Minnesota senate has tallied up $390 thousand in legal defense fees after settling a wrongful termination case with former staffer Michael Brodkorb.

Brodkorb was fired following an affair with former Senate Majority Leader Amy Koch.

The sides settled in September with the senate agreeing to pay Brodkorb $30,000 in severance.

The final months of legal fees tagged on about $78,000 to the senate's tab.
