The Twins Winter Caravan kicks off Monday with stops in southern Minnesota and Iowa.

Two groups of Minnesota Twins players will split their time between Northfield, Faribault, Mason City, Iowa Falls and Cedar Rapids.

The Twins Caravan will visit more than 50 communities for its annual winter caravan from Monday through Jan. 23.

Twins officials said the club’s caravan is one of the longest-standing and most extensive in professional sports.

Throughout the tour, current and past players will visit schools, hospitals, corporations and service clubs during the day and host a “hot stove” program in the evenings.

Specific times and locations within the communities on the tour will be announced in the coming weeks on the caravan webpage
