The weekend is nearly upon us and there are plenty of events happening in the Twin Cities. Bradley Traynor from MY TALK 107.1 joined Rusty Gatenby in-studio to talk about some of the highlights. This weekend: "Phantom of the Opera," Santa Crawl and Holiday Cirque.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s "Phantom of the Opera" will start playing Friday at the Orpheum Theatre, but even those who have already seen the perennial classic will enjoy this tour. This particular show will feature a few changes, which aren’t dramatic, but add a new flavor to the show which runs through Jan. 5.

If you didn’t get in on the fun (or get enough) of a pub crawl this fall, check out St. Paul’s Santa Crawl on Saturday. More than 15 bars in the city are participating and a $10 ticket will get you into any of them along with free transportation via party bus between bars. Proceeds will benefit Toys for Tots, and there will be karaoke, live reindeer and of course, lots of Santas.

Mystic Lake Casino and Hotel is presenting its own version of a cirque show in "Viva Noel: A Holiday Cirque," now through Dec. 15. Aerialists, jugglers and more will perform stunts with a holiday twist.
