Despite a rocky rollout of MNsure, the state's health insurance exchange, Governor Mark Dayton is still convinced starting the exchange was a good idea.

He points out that despite problems at MNsure, it's still operating better than the federal exchange. In a one-on-one interview, the governor also told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS he's glad the MNsure board accepted the resignation of former executive director April Todd-Malmlov.

However, he won't say whether he asked the board to seek her resignation or if she offered it on her own.

Here's a portion of the interview with Governor Dayton Thursday afternoon.  You can see an extended version of the interview this Sunday morning at 10 on "At Issue."
