The Minnesota Twins signed Kurt Suzuki Friday, pending the outcome of a physical.

The catcher from Hawaii has the potential to play a lot following Joe Mauer's move to first base.

Suzuki is a free agent who had a .991 fielding percentage (FPCT) last season.

He has been at Oakland since 2007, averaging a .995 FPCT in 2009.
