Complete strangers are stepping up to help the victims impacted by the explosion Wednesday at the building off Cedar Ave. South in Minneapolis.
Kathleen Stombeck and her daughter Elizabeth, both from Mendota Heights, showed up at the Brian Coyle Center shortly after the explosion with clothes for the victims.
"We saw what happened on the news today and felt like we could probably help with a donation of clothes, we heard it was mostly men that were displaced and we had a few extra dollars that we didn't spend at Christmas and we had a lot of extra clothes,” said Stombeck.
Stombeck adds she believes it is all our responsibility to take care of those less fortunate, especially when the weather gets as cold as it is.
