Annual Land O'Lakes Kennel Club Dog Show Returns to St. Paul

Dog lovers can see more than 2,000 purebred canines compete this weekend in the annual Land O’Lakes Kennel Club Dog Show.

The dogs will face off in obedience and rally competitions, and more than 155 breeds will compete for the Best in Show award.

Youth will be competing in the Midwest Region Top Junior Handler competition on Saturday. That contest is for dog trainers younger than 18 who live in the 15-state Midwest region.

In addition to the competitions, more than 70 vendors will be in attendance to showcase dog clothes and accessories, supplies, collectibles and artwork.

The show takes place Friday through Sunday at St. Paul RiverCentre. Hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday. It costs $8.50 for adults and $4.50 for kids ages 4-12.
