Single-game tickets for the Minnesota Twins 2014 season will go on sale on Saturday, Feb. 22. The team said Tuesday that the tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. CT.
Tickets for the April 7 home opener against the Oakland Athletics will go on sale starting at 4 p.m. CT on Friday, Jan. 24, during the start of TwinsFest.
Season tickets are already on sale and are the only way for fans to have the opportunity to buy tickets for the 2014 All-Star Game held at Target Field and the surrounding festivities. More information about tickets for the All-Star Game can be found here.
Through four seasons at Target Field, the Twins have attracted a total of 11,645,745 fans - an average of 35,944 per game.
The Twins will apply variable pricing to all tickets this season. Per-game prices for both single-game and season tickets will be based on factors such as time of year, date and opponent. The Twins' five-tier variable pricing structure will apply to all single-game tickets sold on Saturday, Feb. 22. Beginning Sunday, Feb. 23, the Twins will apply demand-based pricing, or pricing based on fan demand, to all seating sections of Target Field.
The Twins open the 2014 season with three games against Oakland on April 7, 9 and 10, three games against the Royals from April 11-13, and three games with the Blue Jays from April 15-17. The team will play 14 home games in April and May.
Notable games on the schedule include a series against the Boston Red Sox from May 13-15, a four-game series against the New York Yankees from July 3-6, two games against the Milwaukee Brewers on June 4 and 5, and a series against the Los Angeles Dodgers from April 29 through May 1.
