Suspect Arrested in Possible Homicide in NE Minn.

Authorities have identified a man who was found dead in northeastern Minnesota on Monday.

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, they are treating the death of 55-year-old Paul Bulen of Mahtomedi as a possible homicide.

Officials have identified 24-year-old Shawn Doherty of Babbitt as a suspect. He was arrested and is in jail pending formal charges.
Babbitt ambulance and police were called late Monday morning after Bulen found lying in the road.
The St. Louis County sheriff's office says Bulen was taken to a hospital in Ely, where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday. Bulen's death remains under investigation and additional details have not been released.
