KSTP reporter Tom Hauser takes a trip down the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome memory lane with former executive director Jim Lester. Chairs are being removed by those who have purchased them and others will be ripped out and will be recycled.
After 32 years as the site of everything from the World Series to monster truck shows and football games, the Dome's roof will be deflated this weekend.
Soon, the longtime home to athletes like Kirby Puckett, Kent Hrbek, Joe Mauer and a number of athletes in multiple sports, will be nothing more than a memory.
