Minnesota actor Barkhad Abdi made his entrance into Hollywood in a big way alongside Tom Hanks in the thriller "Captain Phillips."

Abdi joined Rusty Gatenby via satellite to talk about the recent DVD release, his journey to Hollywood and his acting prospects for the future.

Abdi's heralded performance as a Somali pirate has landed him nominations for nearly every major acting award including an Oscar nod for "Best Supporting Actor."
