I have been a fan of Bill Cosby as long as I can remember.  My dad had a bunch of his stand-up comedy records, and we used to listen to them a lot.  I also watched re-runs of the cartoon “Fat Albert” as well.

About ten or so years ago I got the opportunity to meet Bill and talk to him, and he is one of the nicest people I have ever met.  I told him that one of my favorite shows that I watched growing up, and I still do enjoy is “The Cosby Show.”  He thanked me and told me how much he appreciated it.

This past weekend I got the opportunity to watch a review copy of Mill Creek Entertainment’s “The Cosby Show “ Seasons 1 & 2 Combo Pack.

This collection is awesome.  You get all 24 episodes of the first season and all 25 episodes of season two.   There are four DVD’s in the collection, and they are packaged in a very nice hard case.

“The Cosby Show” first aired in 1984 and ended in 1992.  It stars Bill Cosby,  Phylicia Rashad, Sabrina Le Beauf, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Lisa Bonet, Tempestt Bledsoe,  and Keisha Knight Pulliam.

Bill Cosby plays Cliff Huxtable who is an obstetrician and is married to Clair (Phylicia Rashad) who is an attorney.  They have five children, Sondra (Sabrina Le Beauf), Denise(Lisa Bonet), Theodore(Malcolm-Jamal Warner), Vanessa (Tempestt Bledsoe), and Rudy (Keisha Knight Pulliam).

The Huxtable’s are an upper-class family who life in New York.  Each episode deals with real life situations, like holidays, friends, drugs, etc… and there is always a great message.

I really think that “The Cosby Show” is one of the best sitcoms ever.  It’s funny, very well written, and the characters are very likeable.

“The Cosby Show” is one of those shows that never gets old, and I can watch the same episodes over and over again.

Another thing that I really enjoy about “The Cosby Show” is that the whole family can watch it.  There are not any real intense situations, and it’s good, clean family entertainment.

I really enjoyed Mill Creek Entertainment’s “The Cosby Show” Seasons one and two combo pack a lot.    There set contains more than 19 hours of pure entertainment that is very enjoyable to watch with the family.  I know that fans of Bill Cosby or “The Cosby Show” are really going to enjoy this collection.  I would highly recommend that you pick up “The Cosby Show” combo pack.  You will not be disappointed.
