The general manager of the 2014 U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team who was injured last week at Xcel Energy Center, is back home.
David Poile, who is also the Nashville Predators’ General Manager, flew home Sunday after spending the last three nights in a St. Paul hospital. He was hit in the eye with a puck during a skate around Thursday morning before a game against the Wild.
He's already undergone surgery and faces more medical challenges.
He was taken straight from his plane to Nashville's Vanderbilt Medical Center.
