A memorial was held Saturday for one of the two people killed in last Friday’s police-involved shooting on Highway 212.

Multiple officers shot Matthew Serbus and his girlfriend Dawn Pfister after Serbus allegedly took out a knife after a high speed chase and crash.

Friends of Serbus gathered to remember him at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Maple Grove Arboretum.

On Thursday, Pfister's father told KSTP he was considering filing a lawsuit because he doesn't believe his daughter was enough of a threat to be killed.

However, a law enforcement expert tells KSTP a knife is considered a lethal weapon.
