Dozens of extreme athletes will take to the ice track this weekend for the Red Bull Crashed Ice competition.
The Mayoral Course Ride will be held Wednesday. A KSTP crew was there last year as St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman went over a few jumps.
St. Paul is helping spectators plan ahead with a new event website. The city's Visitor's Bureau launched the site which includes information on where to park, shuttle schedules, special events and how to get into the official after party.
There's also information on Crashed Ice racing rules and the history of the sport, which began in Sweden in 2001.
This is the third year for a Crashed Ice event to be held in St. Paul. The competition kicks off Friday night with the finals on Saturday.
