With both teams making State Tournament debuts, East Grand Forks potted four second period goals to put the Dragons away.

Despite dressing only 15 players the Green Wave never tired - notably sophomore Haley Mack - who scored four goals on six shots in the game.

Mack's first two goals came in the first, setting an early tone.

Tiffany Hanson, Alexa Mack, Riley Koberinski and CoCo Piche rounded out the Green Wave scoring.

Kennedy Sommerfield's goal for Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato cut the East Grand Forks lead to 3-1 early in the second, but Green Wave keeper Madi Galstad blanked the Dragons the rest of the way.

The way the brackets have shaken out - a first-time tourney team is now assured a spot in the Championship game as East Grand Forks meets fellow State debutante St Paul United in Friday's Semifinals.
