Caitlin Reilly's 45th goal of the season opened the floodgates for the Red Knights in the second period on their way to seven unanswered goals.

Red Knights coach Dave Herbst says the game turned on a sequence that followed shortly after.  Roseau's Josee Lundgren took advantage of a turnover to earn a clean breakaway on B-S-M keeper Abby Miller - who slammed the door, preserving the eventual shutout.

Moments later, Kelly Pannek scored two goals in a 67-second span to boost a 1-0 lead to 3-0. Pannek scored again in the third period to complete her hat trick to go along with three assists.

Reilly also contributed three assists.

B-S-M's Kasandra Petersen, Brittany Wheeler and Alicia Praus rounded out the scoring.

Miller made 11 saves before stepping aside for Anna DiGuilio in the third period - a move Herbst said Miller suggested.

Roseau keeper Jenna Baumgartner made 19 saves.

Benilde-St Margaret's advances to the Class AA Semifinals where they will face a Lakeville North team that comes of a thrilling triple overtime opening round win.
