There is still no motive and a big mystery surrounding a drive-by shooting that killed a 35-year-old St. Louis Park man in south Minneapolis Sunday.
Police sources tell KSTP reporter Jay Kolls they have a name of a suspect but they have not arrested the person who pulled the trigger and killed Adrian Carr on the 3400 block of South Snelling Avenue in Minneapolis. Police say Carr has no violent criminal history, no drug problems and no financial problems.
But, yet, somebody shot him down in cold blood in the middle of a Sunday afternoon in a quite neighborhood.
His family wants some answers, and they are asking people, along with police, to come forward if they have any information that might lead to the arrest of their family member's killer.
Carr was found shot to death with a wound to his head in the back of a black SUV.
Right now, police say they have the name of a suspect, but they are not much closer than that to arresting the person responsible for pulling the trigger.
There is a memorial fund set up at any TCF Bank in the name of Adrian Carr to help the family with funeral costs. Police would also like anyone with information about this crime to contact them immediately.
