In a game that saw massive momentum swings both ways, Totino-Grace scored the final three goals including Chandler Nauman's redirected overtime game winner which beat Mahtomedi 5-4 in the Section 4A Championship.
The win sends Totino-Grace back to the State Boys Hockey Tournament for the first time since 2005.
Nauman narrowly kept a clearing attempt from leaving the offensive zone, and whipped a wrist shot toward the left side of the Mahtomedi goal. The puck deflected - either off a defender or the goaltender - and turned directly into the net.
That goal with 29-seconds left in overtime completed a furious comeback that saw the Eagles score twice in the third period to erase what was a 4-2 Mahtomedi lead as late as 8-minutes into the final period.
Kai Barber and Carter Lyons accounted for the Eagles third period scores.
Lyons' tying goal came on a shot that didn't seem overly threatening, but it wended its way cleanly through traffic in front of the Mahtomedi goal - connecting with the back of the net with a resounding thud.
The three-goal rally for Totino-Grace came after Mahtomedi had a three-goal run of their own.
Andrew Kangas, Tanner Mireault and Joe Forciea all scored in the second period, giving Mahtomedi their two-goal lead.
That came after Totino-Grace had carried play in the first period to hold a 2-1 lead through one.
After Mahtomedi's Jack Becker opened the scoring 5:12 in, Joey Brey and Ben Henderson responded at with a pair of goals 69 seconds apart late in the first to give the Eagles the early 2-1 lead.
Dominic Wipler made 32 saves in the winning effort.
