One of my favorite comedy teams in the world is “The Three Stooges.”  I grew up watching them with my dad, and I still try to watch them as often as I can.

There are some networks that air “The Three Stooges” today, and I think it’s awesome,  because fans of the show and people who never have seen The Stooges before get the opportunity to see these classic comedy shorts.

Nobody does comedy like Three Stooges.  Their humor and slapstick is unlike anything I have ever seen.  So many people have tried to copy it, but I feel that they failed.  There is just something about The Stooges’ humor that I cannot explain, which I feel makes their shorts and films so funny and unique.

“The Three Stooges” have had many different line-ups, but the two that always remained the same were Moe and Larry.  The third stooge Curly passed away and they replaced him with Shemp and then after he passed away, he was replaced with Curly Joe.  My favorite line-up was Moe, Larry, and Curly.

“The Three Stooges” also made some full-length feature films and now six of their greatest and most hilarious movies are in one DVD set.

Mill Creek Entertainment just released “The Three Stooges six movie set” on DVD.  There are two DVD’s in the collection and each DVD contains three classic films.

The films that are included in the set are:
 - “Have Rocket Will Travel”
 - “The Outlaws Is Coming”
 - “Rockin’ in the Rockies”
 - “Three Stooges Go Around The World In A Daze”
 - “The Three Stooges Meet Hercules”
 - “Time Out For Rhythm”

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen these films, and I had never seen “Time Out for Rhythm” before, so it was very exciting to see that movie.

All of these films are great, and it’s also been a long time since I’ve laughed this hard.

One of my favorite movies in the set is “Have Rocket Will Travel.”  The Stooges get on a space ship by accident and then get shot into space and land on Venus.  There they find all kinds of crazy aliens and they also find an alien computer that can create duplicates of things.  The computer ends up creating evil clones of The Stooges.

Mill Creek Entertainment’s “The Three Stooges” six movie set is a must have for any Three Stooges fan.  I guarantee you will be rolling on the floor laughing when you watch these movies.  I can watch the Three Stooges over and over again and will always find a new joke or see something I had missed because I was laughing so hard.  I highly recommend that you check this movie collection out.
