Time is running out for you to weigh in on the proposed PolyMet copper-nickel mine in northeastern Minnesota.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will take public comment via email through 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Mine supporters say it would create jobs and hundreds of millions of dollars in precious metals. Opponents are concerned about environmental risks, including water and air quality.
As of Monday, more than 40,000 comments have been filed with the DNR.
