Four families helped by Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity will have a chance on Tuesday to thank all of the volunteers and sponsors who built their home.
A home dedication event will be hosted at 6 p.m. Tuesday at one of the homes in Brooklyn Center. Families who bought homes in Robbinsdale, Brooklyn Park and Ramsey will be co-hosting the event.
Since 1985, more than 1,000 families have been able to buy a home through Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, according to the organization. Habitat for Humanity volunteers have also helped nearly 1,700 low-income homeowners make important repairs.
