Gophers football coach Jerry Kill and "Pawn Stars" star Rick Harrison were among thousands who participated in the National Walk for Epilepsy in Washington DC last weekend.

Kill said the National Mall had "an aura" as he walked the famous monument grounds around the nation's capital for the first time.

Kill has battled epileptic seizures since before coming to the University of Minnesota four years ago. While he once avoided discussing his seizure disorder, Kill has become an outspoken advocate for the de-stigmatism of epilepsy.

Harrison, who suffered seizures through his childhood and into his teens, is a national spokesperson for the Epilepsy Foundation.
