Police Identify St. Cloud Woman Killed by Train

A St. Cloud woman has been identified as the victim who died after being struck by a train Thursday morning.

A 52-year-old woman has been identified as the victim who died when she was struck by a train near the Lincoln Depot in St. Cloud on Thursday.

St. Cloud police said resident Carol Jean Oltz was the only person to be struck by the train, which took place around 7 a.m.

Two train crossings, along with St. Germain Street East and 7th Street were closed as St. Cloud police and Minnesota State Patrol investigated the incident. They re-opened three hours later.

No further information has been released at this time.
