One northern Minnesota town really gets into the April Fools' Day spirit - every year. This year was no different.
The City of Ely announced the launch of their new cable channel on Tuesday.
They unveiled the programming for the 24-7 station, which includes Sauna Wars, a sing-a-long show called "Campfire", a reality cooking competition called "Iron Range Chef" and a show named "DNR: Cold Case Unit."
This isn't Ely's first April Fools' Day joke.
Last year, they announced a ban of social media in city limits. In 2009, you may recall they put in a bid to get the 2016 Olympics.
