University of Minnesota women's basketball guard Rachel Banham received honorable mention on the Associated Press All-America Team Tuesday. She received honorable mention last season as well.

Banham was joined by Iowa's Samantha Logic and Nebraska's Rachel Theriot as honorable mention honorees from the Big Ten Conference.

The junior guard was a unanimous pick to the All-Big Ten First Team earlier this season after leading the conference in scoring. She scored 20 or more points in 22 games and scored 30 or more points in six games this season. Banham also broke Minnesota's single-season scoring record with 750 points.

She ranks fourth all-time at Minnesota with 1,993 career points. Next season she will likely become the fourth player in program history to reach 2,000 points.

Banham is on the Wade Trophy Watch List and the Dawn Staley Award Watch List, given to the best guard in the nation.
