NuStar Energy’s three Minnesota terminals are being honored Thursday for their commitment to workplace safety.
The branches in Roseville, Sauk Centre and Moorhead will be declared Star Worksites in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Voluntary Protection Program. The designation is OSHA’s highest honor to recognize industrial safety and health programs.
Company officials say NuStar is working to have all of its operations in the nation certified as VPP Star Worksites.
The Minnesota terminals store, receive and distribute gas and other petroleum products. Company officials say each branch has gone more than 20 years without a recordable injury.
A celebration takes place Thursday at the Radisson Hotel in Roseville.
