Leaders at the Capitol took a break from politics and policies to enjoy visitors from the Minnesota Zoo.
The rotunda was crawling with hissing cockroaches, giant millipedes, chinchillas, hedgehogs, and tarantulas. The zoo, located in Apple Valley, brings the animals to the state capitol to thank legislators for their support.
The zoo also just opened the new exhibit "Farm Babies," which is going on the entire month of April from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
