The heavy snow has proven to be too much for the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.
The large hot dog-shaped vehicle was due to visit Marketplace Foods in Moose Lake Friday afternoon, but organizers rescheduled the event to Monday after Friday morning's snowfall. The Wienermobile remained parked in a Canal Park hotel parking lot as of late Friday morning.
The Wienermobile, driven by "Oscar Mayer Hotdoggers" Molly Segall and Hannah Carlson, is due to visit Super One Foods in West Duluth on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Cloquet Walmart on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Marketplace Foods in Moose Lake on Monday from Noon to 5 p.m.
The Wienermobile is one of six traveling the country.
